My list goes beyond summer, hopefully I can get it done by the EOY.

1. FULL JDM Nismo V2 Body Kit
2. LMGT4 19" + Yokohama Advan
3. Alpine: IVA-W200, TME-M770S, CHA-S634, NVE-N872A, PXA-H701
4. Focal: speakers & possibly their amps.
5. Avoid bankruptcy while doing it.
And oh yeah, almost forgot.... the girlfriend thing doesn't look bad either.

renting one will result in unwanted sicknesses and diseases.. plus, do you really want to spend hard-earned cash on raggedy, stretched out one-nighters?

Yeah i'm trying to rev up for the summer as well, after a crappy run at Englishtown a couple weeks back I'm more motivated than ever. Here's what I'm working on now.

1. AEM Wideband
2. Get my headers jethot coated and installed
3. replace my test pipes w/ high flow cats because I can't stand the sound.
4. I have a nitrous bottle sitting in my room, just waiting for a home, but I honestly can't decide between going w/ the nitrous or just installling some cams and calling it a day. As much as I'd like to put down a nice 1/4, the SCCA is more my thing, and I think cams are the way to go. 1 of the 2 will be done this summer!

We are well into modding season and I know I've been collecting parts left and right. Be realistic here, what do you plan on doing to the Z this summer?

Actually, modding season for me is in the winter when I don't actually drive my Z. I can take my time and not worry about not being able to drive the car while work is being done. April through October is a time when I definitely don't do any mods. Don't want to miss a single day of top down driving time in my ZR here in the Northeast. As for mods.....I'm done. The Z will ride as is until spring of 2008 when it gets replaced. Most likely replacements...new BMW M3 or Nissan GTR. Of course, pics/specs of the next gen Z could be out by then too. It's all good!!!!!

Default Admittedly ignorant

I'm new to this whole thing but wanted some advice on what to do with my car this summer. I currently have a 2005 350z, Touring, Yellow, original wheels, tires, etc.

I am willing to spend about $3K-$5K for a combination of the following:

1. Wheels
2. Tires
3. Exhaust
4. Lighting

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

hndumafia has the right idea superpuneet. try tracking or auto crossing our car at least once this summer to get an idea of where you are and where you want your car to be.

Well, if you want the most info, then it would be best for you to search that specific topic you want to learn more about right here in these forums.. Thanks for admitting your shortcomings, instead of hiding it and posting unintelligently or starting a stupid, redundant thread..

Speedracer - no offense intended, but in your signature there's a spelling error.. since you're trying to sound smart (again, no offense) you might as well fix the spelling error.. frivolous

True I could (and would) do both if money wasn't an object. But after all we're trying our best to keep it real in this thread I thought, and my piggy bank has dropped a few lbs lately. Likely i can afford to do one, and the more i consider it, the more cams are looking like the winner.
