Default Got my Injen super ses put on. Story

Yesterday I drove to New York from Delaware with my friend. I bought a used exhaust from another member of the forum. The drive there felt so long bc i was anxious to put it on. Anyways, I meet him at a shop that his friend owns. He lets me hear his car, sounds great. His friend swapped my stock and his ses in like 45 minutes. Looks so good and sounds even better! Lenny (nyc350z) was a great guy and was honest and helpful with everything. Deff recommend him as a buyer/seller. On the drive home i couldnt get enough of the sound. Anyone thinking about the Injen Super Ses Exhaust, It is a great sounding system. Anyone that says its ricer is out of there mind. It has such a deep tone to it. There is hardly any drone and when your driving normal you could have a convo in the cabin without any problems. When you start it up it sounds perfect. I dont even have test pipes yet. There on there way right now. So overall im so happy with the exhaust and would recommend this exhaust to anyone. Thats it

Why did you pick that one? What did you compare it to?

I was deciding between the rsr or this one. For the money the Injen is a true dual and the rsr doesnt even include a ypipe. I did some searching on the site, most people that had this one loved it. And it looked sexy with the angled canister on my red. Also it had pretty decent hp/tq numbers. which i wanted a mix of the two. Puttin on the helix test pipe as soon as i recieve them. why do u ask?

Uh.. why would you NEED a new y-pipe? Can't you just use the stock y-pipe? Also, true duals don't use y-pipes, hence the term true dual.. You knew this right? I'm just making sure.

P.S. - Glad to know you got your exhaust on.. You sell the RSR yet? Do you mind taking pictures of your exhausts and perhaps even doing a few vids of start-up, revving, and drive bys?

No Y-pipe on a "true dual". I ask because there are so many exhausts on the market that I can't really understand how anyone could choose one over the rest other than someone had a sale or there was a used one for cheap. Everyone likes the one they got because that is the one they got. It just seems as though the HKS Ti exh is the "it" exhaust right now. There is nothing wrong with what you got, I just wanted to know how you came about choosing that one.

I was waiting for the new Injen Ti tip but ran out of patience and bought something else. I saw it person and it's much better quality than the old, but you can't beat the price of the old injen.

thanks allen...but yea like he said...I got the injen bc it seemed like you got your moneys worth. Its a true dual set up. The rsr doesnt even have a y-pipe...so imo its kinda expensive for what it does come with. And you can use your stock y pipe but will get more gains with another one like the jic y pipe. And The HKS is "It" right now...But i figured id save myself the 1000 bucks, and buy a used one that gets about 80% of what the hks one does. Seemed like a no brainer and i liked the look of it before i got it. Now that i hear the sound i fell in love.

When I put my Labree Resonated Test Pipes on it actually made my Injen SES quieter. Let us know if it gets louder once the Helix pipes go on.

Just put Crawford cats on my SES. I was starting to get bored with the sound.......the Cats spiced it up again. No Rasp at all......just louder and slightly different tone.
