Exclamation Roadster problem

I have a 2004 roadster Z, and I was wondering if anyone knows how I can get rid of the hot air that leaks in through my vents while I have everything off and my vent is in fresh air and recycle. is the warm air coming in from the engine or is there anything I am doing wrong.

Make sure the Fan is to the off switch and not auto, there should be no air coming thru the vents if you have the system turned off.

Turn your temp selector down to the lowest setting.

Also there are 2 settings for air flow. Use the re-circulated air setting not the fresh air setting. With the system off if the vent is open hot air will come into the car.

When you put air flow on re-circulate, A/C comes on with it whether you like it or not. And the air will be cool. I have not been able to use re-circulate without A/C. Anyone have the same issue?

I really appreciate everyone's input but, I have done everything you have suggested and still HOT air is coming through, could it be that the heater isn't being shut off internally? You can feel it creeping through the vents even at stand still.
