what is the difference between automatic 350z's and manual 350z's?, besides the visual and having to shift part. what are the specs?

The automatic was designed by porsche, has 15 planetary gears (why they call it the 15AT) and drops a full 1.8 seconds off the quarter mile.

6MT is for kids.

Dude, you better batten down the hatches. Most people on here don't take to kindly to answering questions like that. Me, I think they should take it easy, but I think they like to see how many clever ways they can say use the search button.

Good Luck. IMO manuals are more fun.

Auto transmission has a built-in turbo on the gears and you can install a popcharger directly onto the final drive.

Now for a bit of serious stuff.

In 06 models, the 6MT have the rev-up 300hp engine and the 5AT has the 287hp one.

I recommand doing a search on the rev-up engine before asking. 'Cuz these guys will have a terrible fit if you start a new topic on that...

with a manual, you can install a bov onto the transfer case to minimize drive train loss. re-gearing to 15.4 will help your low end torque, but your top speed will be 25 mph.
