Default Alarm going crazy

I was driving around last night, it was raining (dont know if that matters)
after driving around I parked my car, got out and press the LOCK button on the keyfob

Right after I press LOCK, my car puts the headlights on and the horn beeps steadily..

and unlocking/locking the door doesnt stop it, only way to stop it was to put my key in and start the car.

what can I do to fix this?
its really loud and annoying

it sounds like you held the panic button down by mistake. either push the lock/unlock button or hold the panic button down to stop it.

Is it doing the same thing the panic button does? Intermittent flashing of the lights/sounding of the horn???

I was thinking maybe the batteries, but I wouldn't think the batteries would be going dead on an '05 keyfob already. Has it got wet at all? Dropped? Have you tried the other keyfob?
