Default Need Help....loose throttle PWR...sometimes!

What's up "Z" pepes!

I'm not really knowledgable to explain this problem I'm having, but here it goes. I step on the gas and the car slowly excellerates through the REV band. It feels like the car is in "safe mode," but no CEL is on. It does this in all gears, but not all the time. Sometimes it will climb through the REV band slowly, starting at about 2000 rpm and at about 4 or 5k, the normal performence will kick in.

Only mods are a K&N Typhoon intake and Invidia G200 exhaust. Plenum spacer(not on the z yet). I also had the Redline PWR chip installed(sorry...I was stupid to go that route). The stupid chip was on the Z for about 4 months, no problems. As soon as this was happening I took it off. Maybe the chip screwed up the ECU?

I now know all about the ECU needing to be reprogramed anytime you put a bolt-on MOD. I want to send my ECU to Technosquare for the upgrade, but I don't know if this is a ECU problem needing to be fixed before I do so.

Naturally, Nissan will not touch the car. Any solutions? I would love the expert advice.
