Regardless of whether or not it was the Z driver's fault, the occupants are dead, and it's one less Z on the road. Fatal accidents occur every day, but it seems like there are more involving Zs lately.

I don't think rates go up simply due to accidents, but the actuarians actually measure how much each accident costs for a particular car and will adjust rates if repair costs are different than what they originally calculated. If people are dying more often than they calculated and they are in a particular age group, expect rates to go up for that age group. Some members have reported recently that rates have increased due to no accidents or tickets on their part.

My insurance went from $569 last 6 mn to $639 6mn with no claims or bad driving record. I'm 52 too! I pretty sure I'm getting screwed! Been with State Farm for 25 years, maybe it's time for a change.

I never thought I would be in an accident.. but I was involved in one.. I was very shocked to see me in this situation but anyway.. this idiot hit my passanger door on the freeway.. I guess i was on his blind spot cuz he kept saying i didn't see him.. so I told geico that and they didn't raise my insurance.. cuz i told them i would switch if they did cuz it wasn't my freakin fault.. anyway my Z is at the shop getting fixed.. I was lucky as only a dent was the damage to my car.. to me it seems like we got so many haters.. and they jst want to crash into us..lol I find no other explanation..
