Default Took my stock Z to the dyno!

No graph but it was 233whp and 228lb-ft in the best run in 5th gear. With the A/C on . They forgot to turn it off... not a big deal though, I'll just make sure it's off when I go back after a few mods!

The torque curve looked GREAT! 220lb-ft from 2500-5000rpm (ish, that's a guess, the graph is in mph and not rpm)

Yeah, I faked the whole thing. I even photoshopped that picture of my car on the dyno. I was only given paper printouts of the charts, and I have no scanner here.

I guess some Dynos are different than others. (duh!)

I have full exhaust (catback) and headers, and on a Mustang dyno I ran 247 rwhp @ 6250 and 221 ftlbs @ 4750.

So what I don't understand is how the OP had 228 ftlbs.

OK OK. I forgot about the new be nice policy.

The numbers look good. A chart would give us information such as whether a SAE correction was used.

It would be nice to see the graph. See if you can get someone to scan it for you or have the shop email it to you in digital format.

I wonder how much the AC eats?

Yeah, different dyno's, different results.

I dyno'd at MRC with their Dyno-Dynamics and did 265.5/228 or so in fifth and then did a pull on a Dynojet and hit 243/252 in 3rd (it was the way the dyno was setup apparently). Different dyno's, conditions, and cars give different numbers.

I had my stock Z dynoed on a dynojet and had a max run at 240.9hp I don't remember the torque though. If I can find the charts I'll post them. I should be able to put them up tomorrow. The first run was 233hp but when they cooled the engine some they ran 240. By the waythose numbers are from 3rd gear.

[QUOTE=With the A/C on . They forgot to turn it off...

Maybe it turned itself on. The A/C in these Zs have minds of their own.

Congrats! Numbers seem right on target for a baseline pull. I think getting your car dynoed before modding is a must. Its one of the only ways to see your gains/improvements.
What mods are you looking at now?
