"sweet" paintjobs get real old in a year or two... at least you can tak the vinyl off if you dont like it, or it looks like it was done 10 years ago
To each his own I guess.
Putting down vinyl and deciding later you don't like it or you just want to change it can be an issue as well. The paint that was covered by the vinyl will be a different shade than the rest of the car, with varying degrees depending on how long the vinyl was down.
IMO, the Z is sweet as is, and vinyl only detracts form it's natural beauty.
i personally don't feel it should be done unless it's purposefully done by a sponsor; and even then, I feel it should be done masterfully by someone with graphic design experience...it's really hit or miss with vinyl graphic work, especially on such a sizeable portion of the car
still thinking of something to do that hasn't been done already... or nat as much... vinyl sounds like the way to go but i'm also worried about it shifting it's shape after long term outdoor exposure... fading, sliding, peeling, etc... my car spends alot of time in the sun thanks to my job not seting up covered parking...
i put some pinstripes on my car to accent the curves on the same type of kit, just wide body... its pretty small but it looks good on the car
Why in the world do people put these widebody kits on and then put on rims that dont even come close to being the right ones for it. If your going to do it, then do it correctly. It look ridiculous with them tucked in so much.
i ususally do Not like vinyl or graphics on the Z, but in all honesty yours in actually nice. The only thing i would say is, you need a nice set of 19" aftermarket wheels to go with it. With the stock wheels it doesnt complete the 'look'. but nice so far!
