Hi guys.

I love the 350Z, looks mad. I may trade up my Supra when it arrives in Australia.

Why is it called a Z33? Is that the model in the US only?

Cheers,

Or vins actually say Z34. I am informed the Z33 was the original project that got scrapped and the next version got the Z34 designation. We call it the Z33 by habit I guess because the previous Z here was the Z32.

Just my guess!

it designates a chassis code, to differentiate between body styles...just as 89-94 240sx's are called s13's, whereas 95-98's are s14's
