all you doin is making the life span of the hids go down.. i heard its not good to turn the on and off so many times in such a short span.. and i mean is it really that important to flash other Z. if i was to to that i think my hand would be tired as i would be flashin all day

 

One time I was driving and in my rear view mirror I saw a flashing headlights. As I concentrated a couple cars back I saw the same color Z as my car. The car weaves threw traffic and caught up. At the red light we were both next to each other admiring the sexiness. It was like looking at a mirror. And of course me being the clown that I am I rolled my window down as yelld damn thats a nice car wish I had one. We didn't even race we just rode side by side. It was like it was synchronized. I got my Z about two months ago so I haven't really encountered anything besides that.

 

I'm a vette guy. Vette tradition says that we wave whenever we see another vette coming our way. That's a hard habbit for me to break. Whenever I'm in my ZR and see another Z coming, I always give 'em a wave. Cool thing is, I get waves back almost all the time Sometimes I even get waved at first

I always give a small wave if I think they can see me. The less stock the other Z is the more likely I am to get a response. I still do it though.

 

I tried the whole wave/thumbs up thing but got nadda here in Dallas. Took a trip to Oklahoma last weekend and waved at a 300ZX...got a honk and a wave back which was cool.

 

try flashing only the high beam to prevent damaging the HID....i understand that the cops will pull you over thinking that you are attempting to signal other motorists.

 

i used to wave or give a head nod to other Z's, but nobody notices me or cares. they're mostly too busy doin their own thing. probably because there's so many Z's here.. ??

they're mostly stock verts though, with chrome rims, driven by 40-50 something women.

 

for 06 models both the hi/low beams are HIDs... i doubt the cops will pull me over for that....

in houston.. if we (z drivers) catch each other lookin we both nodd.. i be lookin on purpose so i can give them a nodd lol.. i love it when the females drive because most of them are cute and smile.. if theres any here... mucho props

 

I wave at most Z's, but I rarely ever get a wave back.

My girlfriend drives a little Miata and every other miata on the road seems to wave back.

 

i threw off the BOV 1 time and some stuckup old(er) guy with a nismo and rims just pretended like he never even knew i was there... maybe he though i was showing off... but in my mind, when i drove a non FI Z.. id LOVE to hear a bov after a rev. but i guess thats just me..

 

I had only 1 wave. One guy in a really nice black z rolled down his window and gave me thumbs up, that was pretty cool. I mostly see females driving Z's but they dont even bother to even glance. Oh well. I think it's cool to get a wave though.

 

I have a really nice black z and I live around Burke and pass by Annandale now and then, what did the Z look like ?

ive been giving everyone the your number 1 signal. not sure why everyone gets pissed off at me. oh well.
