"Dunk Sound" at Startup: Anybody Else?
Is anyone else having this?
After the car has not been started for a couple of days (or more), I hear a "dunk sound' when I start the car. This is followed by a rattling sound that goes away in about 2 seconds.

this was covered along time ago...and the general consensus was that the car has a start sequence that is initiated every Xmiles or Xdays. It is something in the ABS that you will here everyonce once an awhile and is described as a thunk from the engine.
