I just paid off my 03 at the beginnning of 06. I am considering keeping the Z for a very long time and maybe never selling it but that could always change.

Never. Ill pass it along to my son one day FAR from now. If he sucks at driving he will not get it, and I will be buried in it

I know you really like the gt-r, but are you considering any other cars in it's price range, like the future e90 m3.

I plan too, if I can swing it.
Well, when your warranty expires, the value of your car also drops substantially. There is no free lunch.

I'll sell when the GT-R comes out.. either that sell my current coupe to get a roadster. I'm planning 700whp on my next car.. maybe even the rumored, 6 cylinder next gen s2000.

Sell it??? I just got it 2 weeks ago.

I kept my last Z ('77 280Z 5spd) for 12 years, so will probably keep this one around 10 years or longer.

And then some probably. I have an 03 with about 58K and haven't had any problems. The Z will last a long time, don't let the warranty expiring scare ya.
