Very nicely done Z on Ebay, I especially love the doors and of course the sound system. Almost makes me want to see what I can do and grab this thing and do what you guys said and just put G35 seats in a Z for my back .

28 bids so far, not bad at all. Nice mods and good description.

This car could never be "parted" out...lol

$2700 for clearbra and installation? Is he for real? I know it's a custom body kit and all... and some of the rear bumper was done, but I don't see it making it that expensive.

^never understood the clear bra part...wouldn't it be cheaper just to repaint the whole bumper?

You guys are funny as hell.

Thanks for the compliments and pseudo compliments

The prices I quoted (I explained this in the description) were (1) retail, (2) prices from 2+ yrs ago when all of the items I purchased were new to the market and hard to get. So they went for a premium (usually retail). When I looked at what the hood (I paid $1100 for it and now you can get it for $600), kit, etc. can be had for now I was a little pissed. But hey, you pay to be one of the early adopters.

As for the clear bra, (1) you get what you pay for. The guy that did my Z charges somewhere around $7-800 to do a stock front bumper. So for a custom ONE PEICE bra, fenders, hood, rear bumper sides, and crazy side skirts, what would you expect. (2) the kit is white fiberglass and low as hell to the ground. every rock that hits it leaves a bright white chip. and every rock digs into the glass. So it is not only about repainting the front bumper. it is about protecting the bumper, and the look. b4 the bra, I would get a chip every time I drove the car. after 5 days of driving, it needed a repaint. my front bumper, b/c of the prep work and high end paint job would cost me $500(trust me this is actual cost. I had the bumper repainted b4 the bra was installed. So when you take into account that my hood, bumper, side skirts and fenders have this protection, $2700 is worth it to not loose ur car for a week after every 5-10 times you drive it and to look good all the time. The bra has been on there for over a yr and still looks like it did the day they put it on. there is only one spot where a rock actually cut through the film. Not bad for 2k plus miles.

Also remember, this is not a stock Z. This is a chow car, I HATE rock chips, and I care about how she looks maybe a little more than you (no offense intended... just being honest).

3fitty -- you will love the hyper silver. It was worth the extra by far!!!

ZZZZZZ ya --- yeah the girls do come with the car. You just drive up and they kinda juist start gathering If I had this car when I was single........

John

yes and no. yes it would be cheaper to repaint the front bumper, given you only do it once within the time you own the car. however I've found that I get so many rock chips, so often that within 1 year my bumper will always need a repaint. thus it becomes much more expensive to repaint vs clear bra.
