I can't shift lower than 3500-4000...it's just too slow...

i have a rx8.. its rotary.. by the time im doing 80 in 6th and i wanna stay at that speed, its about 4500 rpm.. make sense now?

What exactly do you shift into when you get to 4500 in 6th?
Pretty sure that post was a joke lol, considering he shifts into 2nd gear at 9500 RPM.

no, i was serious. i have a rx8.. redline starts at 9k.. will rev to 9500 with no problems. i didnt say i do it ALL the time. and if u read above, i explained that in 6th gear im at 4500 rpm b/c i usually cruise at 80mph in the frwy, so the R's stay low

why is that so hard to understand? go drive a rotary and youll get it

Hey dude, chill out. You said NOTHING about a rotary in your first post in the thread, so I assume you were talking about the Z (considering the thread is about Zs). Then you assume I have no idea what you are talking about -- I drove a rotary (FC) for 5 years man. I believe you.

I always and normall shift about 2.5-3.5k... Not trying to go extremely fast on my Z... plus its still under 2500 miles so I'm not trying to push it yet...
