you can, but you must remove the heavy leather seats and install some lightweight lawn furniture.

almost remove the navigation system, that thing weighs like 8 pounds.

No. You should sell it and buy an Evo.

Man, you guys are tough! Yeah, you can make a pretty mean auto. In fact, most agree that with proper tuning, you will be faster than unexperienced manual drivers (most drivers out there).

With an Auto a good plan would include an engine build, super charger, 3.5 6MT Pumpkin Swap (first mod), intake, exhaust and valve body updgrade for the 5AT.

I have an 03 touring 5at w/ 22,000 miles, I have not posted on this site, but have done my share of reading and learned plenty. I have installed a few mods, so I will share what I experienced so far. The motordyne 5/16 plenum spacer was the best bang for the buck, easy install and the butt dyno was happy, aem cai sounds good and the tires will break loose w/ a little less effort, Borla t/d exhaust is nice and mellow when you want it to be and screams above 4k rpm,, the car will pull harder up top, I also installed the JKR performance pully and feel like it was just a waste of money,, maybe the car rev's faster, but think the money would have been spent better elswhere on the 5at. I'm waiting on the 6mt pumpkin, it is costing me $800.00 dollars and should be installed in two weeks, then will be the V.B. Hope this gives you some idea's,, the car is plenty fast, have had a few races and the only encounter that made me feel slow was on the pkwy w/ a cl55 amg, that car has insane power. Best advise I could give is learn the shift point in manual mode, you hit it just right before rev limit and you will be tough to beat.

thanks for everyones input. I just became a premier member and also will be attending tomorrows H.B. meet. Here of some pics of my car as of right now. I have been debating whether or not to dump money in the performance department of my car because of the fact "can i really make it fast? fast enough to battle other cars on the streets? I have done upgrades to looks and sounds but nothing performance wise. I might even buy another car say. evo9 or sti wrx but this time i plan to purchase a stick since i recently got a LR3.

It's just i am tired of getting hit up by cars. I am ready to become the beast i once used to be (91 crx w/b20 fully bulit engine )

some pics:

They are custom 20" VIP Forged 3 piece wheels w/ titanium pearl finish (i just call it black chrome for easier reference). I choose this wheel because this special finish. When sunlight hits it, a gold shine comes out. Far away it looks black. up close it's a tinted chrome look.

They are for sell since VIP forged is making me another set of 20" with a 20"x13" rear (7" lip) so imma looking to get a new wide body kit.
