I guarantee you 90 percent of these volvo R on the street are auto. Huge difference in performance between MT and AT

0-60 mph, sec :: 5.5/6.1 (MT/AT)
1/4 mile, sec@mph :: 14.0@101/14.4@99.2 (MT/AT)

edit: the two different numbers may also mean the first one is using all the "tricks" in the book (dropping the clutch at high RPM to take advantage of the traction provided by four tires, also wears down the clutch very fast). The second is a "street smart" more realistic 0-60.

Uhm... wait. Arn't their cars over $10,000 more than ours? With all due respect, for $10,000, we can add a turbo or sc and blow their doors off. On top of that, our cars will still win the "show" part of competition.

Ok so our cars are sexier and win hands down in a show, and for the same price as their Rs, we will blow their doors off.

I have to admit, the specs of the s60R as posted are impressive when compared to ours stock vs. stock but i keep in mind that i have seen 3hree5ive0ero pull a 13.9 out of his Z with only a popcharger and y-pipe exhaust...

As others have said "i don't even know what a s60r looks like..." and i'm really not going to waste my time looking... how many street racers drive volvos? I haven't even run across a '05 stang GT that wants to race and this guy expects to fins a volvo? i have to look at the back of the car to even know WTF it is?

I think it's incredibly ironic that y'all are making fun of them over here for making fun of us. I think it's incredibly stupid that to get back at them for saying the Z isn't special, you say their car is even worse. You're just making yourselves look like idiots so they can link to this thread on their forums and have a laugh about us, again. Good job.

I also find it hilarious that someone ridiculed the Z for not making much power NA, where the S60R is turbocharged stock. Odd.

 

I guess its a good thing that we arent posting in that thread. Just answering their response on our own forum.
