Default would it be stupid.......

if u buy a y-pipe and get no cat back, or get a y-pipe with new hfc and stock cat back?

reason is im trying to gain performance and trying to save money and loudness.

I'm not sure if you can pass emissions without a CAT, especially in california

You will make power by changing the Y-Pipe only...

The Y-Pipe is the most restrictive part of the CAT BACK system... (not including cats)

If you change the cats and y-pipe only you will get even more gain...

sleeper style...

so if i get a new y-pipe and new hfc's...i will gain more hp but still have the stock sound but a bit louder.....

also...does anyone know of any good y-pipe and hfc combos that would sound good together or would it not really matter if i leave the stock exhaust?

they will all basicly do the same... differences are very slight....

I like to look at y-pipes that have flex pipes on them... they tend to last longer...

NISMO, FUJITSUBO, JIC, TANABE

as far as HFC's we recommend Crawford...

I think this is a great product!...much less $$$ than the HFC's and more HP gains.
The question is ...What Y-pipe now?

Anyone with this product and Y-pipes in a stock exhaust?....I think is the best mod you can do. HP increase that you can feel!!! But what about the sound? I want OEM look of the stock exhaust!
