Default Steering sensor Fault & Speed sensor fault

Has anyone ever removed the steering knuckle to make room for the removal/installation of the aftermarket headers???

It would seem that ever since I temporarily removed the steering knuckle to expedite removal of my aftermarket headers, now I get a check engine, and my VDC is off every time I move my car.

Also, does anyone know how to reset the speed sensor by the Right front wheel??

Are these 2 error codes only something that the dealer only can remove??

Please help.
Thanks

When you removed the lower steering knuckle from the steering rack you were not supposed to turn the shaft. If the pink paint is still visable the knuckle and the rack were indexed by the pink paint. As for the wheel speed sensor, you should be able to clear that with CIPHER or disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and see if that clears the fault.

Default Advice

Thanks, I will try to check the steering alignment again. I don't remember seeing any marks, though, especially not any bright color.

Also I will leave the battery disconnected and see if that fixes the speed sensor cel.

Thanks for the advice.
