Considering the 07' Gs are quite a bit newer, the Z might be due for a "SPECIAL" model" on 07', making the way for a Grander re-make in 08'

One thing is for certain, the Z, needs to lose some weight.
They made a boatload of changes for '06, so I don't think there will be many re-freshes for the next couple of years.

Default No changes

I am betting that the next time we see a change to the Z, it will be a complete model change into whatever the next generation of Z will be. It seems all the car manufactures are looking to late 2008 early 2009 models.

I've been seeing articles on a GT-S version with supercharger, but Nissan hasn't confirmed it. I think they are waiting to see how it is received at the auto shows. I also got a call from the Infiniti dealership in Virginia Beach two days ago and he told me the 08s would be out in May, but is still waiting for the detailed specs, options etc. He said there probably would not be a 2007 G35 Coupe.

^ suspension is not as harsh as the first run of Z's
also larger stock rotors, better interior plastic, more sound dampening, drive by wire steering, exhaust timing....

they probably won't make any changes across all the models since they just did that in 06 but during it's last year they might introduce some kind of limited edition model to boost sales.

For 2007, Nissan changed internal engine so it can rev to 9500 rpm. HP will be around 600 and car only wait 1500 lbs

my buddy at Nissan Corporate (he ain't moving to TN) told me the new 07's will have a 10hp boost to 310. Other than that, the 07's s/b very similar to the 06's. And the TRACK model's being discontinued. So only 4 trims will be available.
