Hi everyone, new kid on the block
^ OMG that is the cutest post by Zanticipation! My contribution just went up to $7!
For my past three birthdays, my parents took me by the local dealership and let me sit in them and look at them in person. That is my favorite part of my birthday every year!
Welcome buddy. After owning numerous domestic muscle cars, I have converted to the import scene and bought my first import car....350Z. I had to wait until I was 27 so dont feel bad.

I figure by the time I get one, I will have waited 4-5 years, and have spent over 3 years of my life looking at pictures and dreaming. I have actually lain in bed thinking of a 350Z to see if I could actually think about it long enough to dream about driving it that night. It's worked a couple of times. All I can do now is dream.
WOW this would like make the news... my 350Z.com has generously contributed and bought a 16 (when hes 16) year old kid a brand new 350Z. my contribution will be there as well if he comes back with a paypal account
But can you imagine if the fund reached like 49k or so and he ended up with a brand new bimmer or something... haha

hi again everybody, are you guys really serious? If so, that would be so awesome, and I would be so appreciative and greatful beyond imagination. It would really be a bedtime-daytime dream come true!!! One more thing, what is a Paypal account? I have no idea what this is. Can a 15 year old get one? Do I need my parents? Last, do you honestly think I can get enough? Only around 50 have even replied to my greeting. Well, thank ya'll for welcoming me with open arms, and being so generous. I really appreciate it.
>>>I'm so excited if this is for real. This is a dream in itself as well.

I think most of us are. You need to realize that most guys your age come over here making wild statements about their parents buying them cars... You seem to be the opposit, and thats honnestly refreshing!
Get your parents to set an account up with 'paypal' via their CC (Credit card) and see what happends..... Its safe to say that you`ve probably convinced a few members to help you reach your goal.
Heck I`ll pitch in 5$ if you promiss to take your folks out for a nice dinner....
I promise. Can I set one up without a credit card? I'm sorry if I sound ignorant, but I really know nothing about financial issues.

I too felt like TJ but was for a 93-98 Supra TT. Never did get that car either
I did get the 2004 350Z since I loved it from the concept pictures. But due to buying a house and family getting bigger I just got the Hummer H3

Man, can I relate. Except when I was around your age, It was the 1993 RX7 that did me in. I visited the dealer at least once a week.
Set up that PayPal account and I'll contribute to the TJZ fund. Make sure to take advantage of the 5% CDs banks are offering right now. Also, helps keep the money tied up so you're not tempted to spend it on something short-term.

Welcome, TJ!
My first car was an old Z that was older than I was, and from the day I got it I dreamed of someday owning a new Z. I was crushed when they stopped making the 300ZX before I could afford one, but now I'm on my second 350Z.
Hang in there, it's worth the wait!!
Like Iris said, your parents are just looking out for you. Keep hanging around and you'll learn a lot about the Z. Just don't let your parents see any of Hraes or Fowlman's posts.
(just kidding guys!!)

It may not be enough to get a Z, but it may help you with a down payment. It may not be that much even but your parents deserve a nice dinner out with their child/children for doing the best parenting they can. This kind of generosity is not common on this website but neither is a 15 year old with a good head on his shoulders. You can even have your parents talk with us if you want. Don't just relay this info though, let them read it for themselves.
Good luck with your dream, by the way! Any specific color you really like? (just curious)
