New exhaust always smells. I never noticed it inside the cabin, though; only after parking in the garage. Even if it is that in your case, it should've gone away by now

I'm gonna say burn off...normal for a new engine. Take it easy for a bit and see if it goes away. If it's still there in a few weeks take it to the dealer.

I was experiencing the same problem with my car when i first got my 06 a few months ago and the smell seems to appear after driving for a long period of time or going anything over 80mph, but then after a while it just went away,i now have about 3000 miles . I would just call it the NEW CAR SMELL

All new cars smell for a time, they coat everything when they get shipped, takes several weeks for it to burn off.... It's probably smells stronger when doing 100 because the engine is running hotter... <shrug>

Thats that molybdenum burning off, marketing gimmicks only last until you break the law.

Anyway, yeah when I test drove my 06 and brought it back to the stealership I thought I screwed up the car, even the sales manager was looking at me like I screwed it up (I didnt pound the thing but I put my foot in it). I felt so bad I ended up buying th car.
