i got my car at mossy nissan an was wondering if they did tints at the service center or w/e...couldnt find out today because the service center was closed

we dont have an inhouse tinter, but we have a company that comes by to tint customer cars by appointment...

 

most dealers send their cars out and then add 30% to whatever it costs them... just ask them who they use to tint.

 

Dealers almost never do their own tinting. They typically have a vendor that comes by and does all the after market tinting. A dealer will mark up the cost anywhere from as little as 5 or 10% to as much as 300%. The price could vary from service writer to service writer in the same dealership. Just look in the yellow pages/on line. You should have no problem finding anyone, especially in Ca. If at all possible check out samples of their work. Not all window tinters are equal.
