Default Weight Reduction?

Has anyone on this forum attempted to remove some weight from there car for road course, or any track driving I supose? Any tips on little or even big things that can be removed that start to add up? Especially does anybody have a list of what they have removed and then weighed their car afterwards? Even if people have ideas on what could be removed please place your input, thanks. Discuss...

i would say you can start off by taking the passenger seat out maybe add some carbon fiber stuff to your car like a cf hood and hatch, those will greatly reduce weight on your car

the CF that companies sell here is wet CF..it doesnt weight much less than fiberglass. Try to remove stuff before adding more stuff... Battery, seat, plastics inside the car, tire, jack, insulation...
CF doors saved a lot of weight, as well as lightweight tires, flywheel/clutch assembly.. Uhm...plastic windows...remove headlights. Someone here has a raceweight of 2800 lbs and hes not gutted at all. Audiblemayem i think hsi name is. Rickdogg is pretty light too, but hes too pimp haha

Sorry to go a little off topic but this is the first time I've heard about an actual difference between cf types. Could you elaborate more on this?
