Default Do Nismo Parts Void My Warrenty

Sorry, this is just a quick question. I know Nismo parts are expensive. I just wanted to Know if Nismo Parts void the warrenty or not, and if any nismo part at all would give me trouble during an upcoming inspection.

Be Sure to use the Search feature first, as the topic may have been posted already.

If you install a NISMO intake, and have transmission problems, why would Nissan not take care of the transmission? Think about it.

I am not being disrespectful but warranty questions are asked all of the time. Now I apologize because the search function is out of control these days. And he does have it backwards. S tune yes, r tune no!

I have just searched it on google and it on thenissanpartsstore.com and it seems u, zrausch have ur facts wrong....

Not worried about your Z's "street-legal" status? Then check out the large selection of 350z NISMO R-tune parts. These are the premium race inspired parts that can significantly boost your Z's horsepower.

It seems R-tune void the warrenty and s-tune don't. Am I correct?

Because of the warranty information in your warranty book. And I quote: Use of parts not equivalent in quality or design to parts supplied by Nissan.

and: damage to other parts caused directly by non-Nissan parts.

Certainly NISMO parts are equal in quality to Nissan parts. In fact they are Nissan parts. The key to the second sentence is caused directly.

R-tune is the stuff that will void warranty not S-tune. Think about it sherlock, cams and headers wont void the warranty but a exhaust, and a suspension set up and body kit will?

Now maybe you should've searched in the first place. Matter of fact, I just answered a thread like this within the past week or two. The search function was put here for a reason... don't get butt-hurt that people are telling you to use it.

R-Tune parts are not backed by warranty, and will void. S-Tune parts won't void it, and are covered by warranty themselves.

Was that not disrespectful to zrausch? 'Cuz there's nothing disrespectful about telling someone to search. Even if it is in big letters.

Correct. So if you do add R-tune stuff, that will void the engine warranty if something happens to your motor that was caused by the cams, cold air intake and headers.

^ exactly. R-tune parts are the cold air intake, cams, headers, brake pads, power steering oil cooler, LSD, flywheel, clutch disc and cover and fuel pressure regulator, oil and radiator caps . S-tune parts include the exhaust, sways, shocks and springs, wheels, body kit, shift ***** and floor mats and lisence plate frame. click here http://www.nissanusa.com/nismo/

Well lets not take it to the extreme. If you and a buddy install NISMO pistons, and the motor breaks, Nissan is not going to give you a new motor.
