Dude, that makes you a moron. 30 over? WTF were you thinking? I had a friend who was killed by a *** crack like you doing 75 in a 50, keep it in your pants or take it to the track. You are lucky you weren't in Oklahoma where they can haul your *** in for wreckless driving for anything over 25 over.

And to the people who I am sure are going to buck me on my opinion...yes, I am aware that we drive sports cars designed for speed and agility, but that is no excuse to be speeding in excess in order to feel like a god/goddess or prove your alpha male/female status.

Wow...a little bit on the **** retentive side eh? I sympathize with you on the fact that your friend died from someone speeding....but there a many factors that could have play a huge role besides the actual speed

Wow. Sorry for your friend, but you can't sit behind that screen and tell me that you obeyed every law on your test drive. I for one would not believe you, so cut him some slack. The cop did cite him afterall.
I went 140 in a Crossfire on a test drive, but the salesman was driving. My wife hit 120 in a Vette. It is a sportscar, and some of us will drive it as such on a test. Have to get a good feel if you would. It all depends on who is trying to sell the car.

You don't need to go 100mph to test drive a car, plain and simple.

That car has Jinxx written all over it.
I'm all for test driving it like you own it, because you might if things go all well
So what , you got a ticket, we've all been down that road. Dont let it discourage you. 06 sounds good, it works for me

I took my salesman for a ride when we went out for a test run. He remembered me 8 months later when I came to buy the car as " The guy who made me crap in my pants "(thick russian accent) Nice..

I don't think they let you take your test drive on race tracks.. unless buying a new GT2.

Some of you guys need to chill. If you want to complain about someone driving over the speed limit, maybe a sports car forum is not for you. I don't think anyone on here bought their car just to keep it under 65. Everyone pushes it now and then.

Get a traffic attorney. $100 will usually save you time, the course, and points.. but you will have to pay the fine. For me, $100 is way cheaper than taking a day off.

Haha, my second and last speeding ticket I got was on a test drive when I was 18...back in '97. Haven't got one since, thanks radar detector!!!

I was in an MX-6 that I thought was cool. Ended up keeping my truck.

You test drove a car by taking it over 100 and then didnt buy it?

This is why dealers like to ride with people nowadays
