Default Where can I get a Grille for the '06 Zs?

I apologize if this has been addressed already but my search was uneventful.

So far, I have called several companies (including STILLEN and MyNismo.com) looking for a grille for the '06s. From what I've been told by all of them, the '06 front bumper was redesigned a little bit and a grille to fit it has yet to be developed by any company.

I don't really care for the grille look... I want to keep the two little wings in the grille area. Whatever I buy, I am going to fit it behind the two little wings and paint it black so that it is pretty much invisible.

The main reason I want a grille is because I am more-than-often driving through highway construction zones, where rocks are thrown at my Z at high speeds. If a rock (it has happened) goes through the grille area at >90mph, it can damage the cooling equipment behind there, so I want some sort of barrier there to protect against that.

Anyone know of any solutions short of buying an aftermarket front bumper?

If it's more for protection and you're pretty much going to hide it, why not make your own? When I was on the Grand Prix boards (don't laugh), there were a handful of people that bought some mesh-like material (not sure what it was made out of) from Home Depot or online and cut it to fit. The material, paint and zip ties will probably run you less than $25.

Yeah... it's also a common mod on Accents (which will make you laugh harder than Grand Prix's, right?) 'cause the stock grill looks teh ghey. It comes in a roll. You can get it in a 6" wide x 24' (i think) long roll, or in 12" wide. I got the 6" wide for about $9. Just cut it, and zip tie it where you need it.

Here's what the grille looks like installed:

in roll form:

It's alluminum so, it's easy to shape and cut, but still holds up against rocks and debris. It's also paintable.

I was thinking about that but didn't know how hard it would be to get it to stay on the bumper. I will go to home depot tommorow and look for that mesh aluminum.

I have a magnetic black Z. I am undecided as of yet whether or not to keep the mesh alumanum color or paint it super black or magnetic black (we own a body shop.) Opinions would be appreciated. Was also thinking of maybe painting it black with a silver "Z" in the middle similar to SPEARCO intercoolers and such.

I believe T-Rex has a billet grille for the '06.
