Angry 350z jack gives

Ok, i lifted my car the other day to install new rims and tires that i had bought, i started with my rear left. I had the car lifted, i took the wheel out, and as im getting the other wheel to put it in, BAM! the car slips back and falls on the floor. I'm really nervous i hope nothing happend to the car. What had happend is that my friend kinda leaned on to the car and it fell (he weighs a bit more than average). Should i be concerned? I'm going out today to call someone that is going to lift it just enuf to put a professional jack under. By the looks of it, it looks like its lying on the sway arms, but they dont look bent cause its on one end of the sway bar. Its not lying on the rotors or anything.

That mistake only happens once. You should be ok, but from now on, you'll be using jack stands! Good luck.

For safety, put the car on a lift and check for damage. BTW how does the car fall with the emergency brake ON?

i had my e-brake on but the car weighs 3000 pounds, if it shifts a little bit it would keep going, and with sumbody leaning on it that coulda happened. He didint know it was jacked because he had just gotten there and was on the other side of the car :-\ , but ive been nervous all day hoping their is no damage.

dude,
If I were you, you would not worry about the car.
consider you are extremely lucky...you could've been killed or have your hand crushed. Always uses jack stand and jack together in case one of them gives in. Always use something like brick or XBOX 360 power supply (little joke here) to block ur wheel.

yea ok guys, u dont understand the point of this thread, i know i ****ed up, i know i coulda been dead or had a hand crushed, and thank god i am not, now i need to figure out how to fix my car!! stop telling me all the "dam you coulda been dead" and "how to do it next time, cause yes i know i did it wrong this time, and unlike other people, i learn from my mistakes..

now back to the question at hand.
"has this happend to anybody, and what did you do to get it lifted again without damaging anything, i dont know where i can lift it anywhere in the car, the jack doesent fit on the side anymore. + my stock jack got crushed and doesnt work anymore." ??

Put a low profile jack behind the front wheel right behind the fender. If you look their is a large black brace their that you can lift up the whole side of the car on.

Personally I would be ticked if my friend leaned on my car even if all four wheels where on the ground.

Since mpowers did an excellent job at answering your question I would like to offer this PSA:

The jack that comes with your car is for EMERGENCY ONLY, do not use it to do maintenance on your car, spend the money on a nice hydraulic jack and a set of jack stands...

side note: find a friend that respects your car.....

Can you not get a garage jack under the differential?

Step 1...Smack him upside the head

Step 3...Use a jackstand next time

Just kidding man. I wouldn't guess there would be any damage, but it wouldn't hurt having it checked out.

And your friend is a moron by the way

You should be ok, the drop is may be about a foot. Post a picture if you can so others can give you better suggestions. In the mean time, try using a floor jack and some 2x6's. Find a point where you can jack the car as far as you can go and put the 2x6 under for support. Pull the jack out and work on a different point. You should be able to get your car back to a height to put your tire back on. Then jack the car up to pull all the 2x6's out. The 2x6's can be used in the future as wheel blocks, so your car won't slide while it's up. Good Luck.

With 3 tires still on the car I can't see the rear end being so low that he can't get a garage jack under the differential. This would be the simplest and best solution if possible, IMO.
