I wash (rinseless) and wax or QD mine daily. I have my own little parking spot at work where no one parks within 5 feet of it on either side, if at all. Anywhere else I drive it to, I park far away from other cars. At home, I have a garage.

I'll bet anything that mine looks BETTER than it did upon leaving the assembly line.

You should try out an autocross when you get a chance. It will make you a much better driver, especially if you just learned how to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Autocrossing is pretty safe since about the worst you're gonna do is hit some cones which leave scuff marks that wash off. So go for it!

Auto-x is completely and entirely safe. Enclosed courses, one car at a time on course, etc.

Im weird I guess, my wife drives the Z daily, she barely gets it over 3k...I drive it on the weekends I usually shift around 4k, prob once a week I blast it to 7k just to remind myself why I bought it and how awesome it is. When I park the car in a parking lot I ALWAYS park in the back or take up 2 spots so no one can park near, I was it twice a week and wax it once with cleaner wax and once with gold class EVERY saturday! Man I love my Z!

Baby it? Interesting question. Put 100 miles on it from new, more or less to work the tranny in a little, then redlined it every chance I got. Switched to synthetic oil at 1000 miles and drive the car hard. She rips!!

After driving the car hard I bring her home and throw a fresh Meguire's sudsy wash to her and condition the supple leather. Detail every square inch. Z looks gorgeous and fresh afterwards, baby it, 'spose so, but she baby's me as well...ha ha!!

If you double park people will key your car. I've seen it happen so many times. I think only exotics can get away with double parking.

I heard Turtle Was T-6 Wax Cleaner and Black Magic Wet Shine is the best in terms of gloss/durability/ease of use. Not Zaino/NXT.
