Much depends on how important it is to you to become a very close friend of the service manager at your local BMW dealer. You'll be spending a lot of time with him.

Been there. Done that. With Benzes, too.

+1 on the waiting till next year, and if you can afford maintaining a beemer then go for it..me personally I can never get comfy in a beemer..mom had the X6 and before that she had the 540..then again if youre gonna wait till next year to see what you can do....it dont hurt to wait to see what becomes of the GT-R

I WOULD, get a turbo, and if you dont like the seats, buy some new ones, its way better then spending 20k when you can mod it to the max for 10k with a whole bunch of performance interior mods.

Of course...that's why Hiroshima got severely phucked....Maybe since we went to war with just about everybody is WHY we have some people who are die-hard "Buy American" types....yeeesh!

BUT...The Germans were MUCH more sinister, as they used Bayer (that's right..the SAME company that makes Aspirin and Cipro) to make a deadly nerve gas called Zyklon-B to kill thousands of Jews.

Unfortunately, I used to work for Bayer....I left after I found out that I was working for a company that willingly supported the *****...and a company that STILL employs people with serious racism issues (i.e. My old bosses boss there got fired after he commented that a certain group of non-Aryan employees "aren't capable of doing this job".

To this day, I refuse to buy ANYTHING made by Bayer...f*ck 'em!

Chill out man. The **** the germans did was wack, but there are a whole new generation or two of germans since then. If you don't try and promote acceptance then there's gonna be unneccesary hatred going round. It's called wartime: people kill people, and don't think that the american's didn't kill millions of innocents also in hiroshima and nagasaki. There were war crimes committed on ALL sides of the war.

Just a quick note, aspirin and ciprofloxacin are NOT PATENTED and any company can make them.

Examples of preparations of ciprofloxacin available in australia:
C-Flox, CiloQuin, Ciloxan, Ciprol, Ciproxin, GenRx Ciprofloxacin, Profloxin, Proquin. All are the same active ingredient.

Examples of preparations of aspirin available in australia:
Alka Seltzer, Asasantin SR, Aspro Clear, Astrix, Cartia, Disprin, Solprin, Spren, Codral Forte - All have aspirin as an active ingredient or the only ingredient.

And maybe i understood it wrong, but your old bosses boss got fired for saying something RACIST? Doesn't that mean the company is ANTI RACIST?

Final word: Let's not turn this into a politics discussion, it's the wrong forum.

The Japanese did much more cruel things to the Koreans and Chinese i.e Nankang removing the bone off someone's arm while still alive or cutting the flesh off someones neck also while live to see what would happen . Also bury someone up to the neck and plowing their heads off with a bulldozer while alive. Fresh like Sushi. Does that make you want to sell your Z?

going by that....

-you should never buy anything that reads AMG CLK55/S65/CLK63/SLR on the trunklid because Hitler owned a Mercedes-Benz
-you shouldn't buy an RS4/RS6/R32 because Hitler created the Beetle for the German population
-you should not drive on the Autobahn because that was created by Hitler to aid the transport of people and artillery across Germany
-you shoul not buy an EVO because Mitsubishi's fighters bombed Pearl Harbour
-you should not fly in another Boeing 737/747/787/777 again because that same company built the B-29 that carried the atomic bomb to be dropped in Nagasaki/Hiroshima

+1. WTF. Keep it on topic or start a new thread. History discussions aren't going to help him choose an M3...unless he's a racist!!! OMG!

Keep the Z, FI it, upgrade interior and sound to your liking. I'm sure you can do that for less than $20,000. In the end, you'll have a car no one else has.

I would say if you want to turbo or S/C your Z go for it. Just think about this...if you want a S/C in an M3 it will set you back 15,000 bucks, hell for that price your Z could be one of the nicest around. Just my two cents.

Good Luck

Why not do something CRAZY like test drive a used M3? Then make a rational decision based on how the car drives and what you want from it. The M3 is a GREAT car but then again so is the Z. Besides if you are REALLY thinking about waiting for the new V8 powered car, i have one word with three letters...GTR!

If you're already having second thoughts about the Z, dumping more money into it won't be a permanent solution. Test drive the E46 and see what you think. I've driven an SMG version and loved it, but I've always been an M enthusiast. The car is so well-sorted from the factory and is on the next level of performance from the Z, as one would expect, particularly in braking and steering feel. It's worth the money.
