Someone who buys 20" chrome rims that looks like a warehouse fan is insulting people that have gold rims? This has got to be the first pre-emptive insult I've seen. Insulting other people's rims before anyone can insult your own in this thread?

Nothing wrong with gold wheels though. Advan, Volk, Work to name a few make great wheels in gold. Why would gold wheels make your car "fast and the furious"? If the car had neons, huge aluminum wings, decals all over the place, i would agree with you.

Personally, I like gold better than chrome.

Different strokes for different folks.

+1. IMHO I think chrome rims look more like FnF than Gold rims. I ordered my Volk SF Winnings Gold like a week ago. I wouldn't go out and say your rims are ugly and such so I would hope nobody would go out and say my rims belong in FnF.

I don't see why people say 20's are to big. Look how nice that car looks with 20's. Sometimes I think if you don't have 17-19 Volk's or Work Wheels no one likes them. I think the car up there looks BAD ***!!!!! Great choice in wheels and originality. Paint your wheels gold and it will look amazing!!

With 20's you are not going to be smoking any evo VIII's on the highway, I'll tell you that much. Maybe the civics, if they're still aspirated. Have you ever tried walking with weights on you're feet?

I like HRE's and Fikse's, but 20's are too big for any sportscar. If you bought your Z to profile, that's cool, but Z's are meant to run. I think 20's look great on 300C's and Benz's.

Personally I think the rims look great. I will agree, 20s are more at home on a big body car, but they don't look too big on your car. I've seen a couple Z's on 20s, and they look good. More show than go looking, but still hot.

As for gold wheels... Well, here's a pic of one of my old cars.... I think they look good on the right car...
