had my first moron encounter
merged onto I5 smoothely but at speed and took a position in the middle lane then all of a sudden I notice 4 headlights in my rear view (thank god for auto dimming!) no less than a foot away from my rear end, Im thinking- WTF- so I accelerate safely to another point further ahead, about 10-15 seconds later this moron is there AGAIN, whats wrong with people?
So I take off again leaving him in the dust, same thing he's there riding my ***
about 15 seconds later, until he has to take an exit for downtown, all I did was laugh that he embaressed himself, but whats he/she trying to prove huh I was just wanting a peacfull drive home. So many A**holes in Seattle its unreal

Those a$$holes are everywhere, I'm sorry to say. I think they're the ones who don't enjoy driving and feel it's their duty to make it miserable for the rest of us, too.

Its happened to me so many times before when I had my old mustang too, not that it was fast in any way. But at least now I can seperate myself from them pretty easily if I choose
If I see some moron do it more than once, I usually accelerate away, and then brake gently. So he has to either pass me or drive slowly. I accelerate fast, because you can't be sure he can handle his car, so I give him time to see my taillights.

wildone,
There must be something with 350Z's, Seattle and tailgaters. There have been atleast 3 occasions when I've had someone tailgating me on I-5 and I-90 in the Seattle area. I'm guessing that they must've been trying to check out the Z, but when you're within 3 ft and moving at 60+ mph that's just freak'n rude, not to mention stupid.
I'll admit, the one 350Z that I saw before I got mine really sparked my interest and I made an effort to get a closer look, but I was atleast courteous enough to watch him from the adjacent lane.
Here's another thing that you might have experience in or around the Seattle area. There have been 2 occasions where I've been stopped at a light and someone wanted to have a go at it in the adjacent lane. In both occassions it was some guys in a big, old, rusted, disgusting pickup. WTF?!? I like the attention that this car draws but at times it just seems to attrack a bunch of morons and idiots that I'd rather not deal with.
