Look at the hood on the 2nd pic (superblack) - does it look like it caught on fire perhaps?

I would love to get the heated mirrors off of the DB touring AT. The power seats (if they still work) would be nice in my enthusiast model too!

I think a spare engine, tranny, and rear end sounds nice. How much are they going to auction those for, any guesses?

Man. People have crashed their Zs, probably some getting hurt, and you're already picking over their cars like vultures. You guys are brutal!

Yep, that was the first thing I noticed. It appears the VDC works really good since there are none in the pics.
I wonder if they are all base models with the LSD as well or a mixture of Enthusiast, Touring AT, and Base's?

It's not apparent that any of the cars in the pix even had VDC. In fact, it looks like they might not have had it at all. Is that why they crashed? Inquiring minds want to know..............

Vlad find someone with a salvage license and have them bid on the cars for you. They are listed on the IAAI website.

I want to buy them all and start a 350Z graveyard!! I could charge people like $20 a pop to tour my place!! Hmm this sounds like a plan!! Now I just need to raise the few hundred grand to start buying wrecks and building a building. EM I think NOT!! Maybe a web Graveyard!! NOW that is an idea!

That SuperBlack was my old Z. I wrecked it on Dec 27, 2002.
I took some more pics but they had snow on it and it was a borrowed digital camera and I haven't got the pics yet. I didn't wreck it in the snow. I did however dodge a cat in the road and went over a curb and dodged a huge rock and come back across the road and got in some grass that had frost on it and hit a block wall. Thank God for side curtain airbags!!!!!
Was quite an interesting ride and I have to say that this car is built very well. It took one heck of a beating and was still running, I had to turn it off. Me and my friend both got out of the car unhurt except for my feelings.
The car didn't catch on fire either and it is already sold so sorry I couldn't help ya on that. I sold it to a friend of mine.
It's funny how it ended up on this site because all the pictures I took with my 35mm camera I have and the other pics are still in my friends digital camera. I suppose the people at the salvage yard took these and they got circulated. Kinda funny I think. I just wonder how many sites and views and rumors were started with those picks.

Wild ride indeed but not a scratch on me or my friend, not even really sore the next day but I was sure sick on my stomach.

Azaz, glad you and your pal are OK. Sounds like one-heck-of-a ride you went on! Pretty nice of you to dodge the cat, but something tells me next time a cat crosses your path, it will not fare as well as this one did.

Anyhow, I'm sure everyone will ask if you plan on getting another Z?

Wink

No more dodging anything, had I been in my 92 240SX I woulda killed that cat in a heartbeat. But the car was 3 weeks old and I was like oh no don't hit the cat. As you can see the aftermath of the dodging incident, but yes I am ok and am now driving another 350z and enjoying every minute of it.
Oh and to prove I don't dodge anything anymore I straddled a skunk 2 weeks ago and heard him go bump tidy bump under the car. Lucky me I only smelled him for a couple of miles after that.

The salvage on the car was 5K, I made a little off of it and now it is just about ready to hit the streets again. A friend bought it and has it just about ready to be painted. Oh, and yes it was totalled. Side airbags and curtain airbags are the stuff!!

Thanks for the concern and keep it between the ditches!!
