I'd say they use bigger tires in the back for the same reason we all do funny things like that... we can.

guys guys guys are you all that ignorant???? the answer my friend is as a fellow previously touched on that the 2006 have an optional tire package that comes with the 18/19 rays with the overwide tire. i find it very doubtful that he is asking why some people put wider tires on. Alas most peoples ignorance seldom surprises me........
