i was looking for a black Z with black seats, but i came across the black one with burnt orange seats. i didnt like the orange seats at first, but then it grew on me. it makes the car look so exotic! i love it.

good luck with the buy, but i'm tellin you, your missing out by not getting the 6 speed!

Black is definately my favorite color...just makes the car look so much sleeker

I'd go with a six speed if I could find one with everything else I want, but it isnt a big deal, I like auto too

$30,000 is a bit too much, I'm trying to find one for around $25,000 or less

And since your young, 18, right? Have you checked on insurance?

Patrick, is there a reason you are looking at the touring package or was this just something that you saw at the dealer's lot and decided to pull the trigger on?

You can get a brand new base model for that same price (exact color and interior that you want, nonetheless).

Like I said, pass, you won't regret it. You have no idea how hard those 20K + miles were driven, how many owners, ect! And that bumper looks like it has a ton of rock chips! + 20K in an 05.

I have a Jan 05 Z and I only have 3300 miles, granted thats low, but 20K is way high for an 05 unless the buyer bought it in 04 which you would not know!

No, but if you want leather seats then you can get that added on top of the base model price as an extra. I would highly discourage that though because it would be much cheaper to get the base cloth seating and get leather aftermarket. You can save a lot of money by going this route.

Do "we" really want to spend a lot of time helping a kid who does not do enough homework to know what are features of each model & sounds like he knows it all?

Hey! Shouldn't we try to get another z into the community instead of scaring him off. He is obviously enthusiastic, if rather uninformed...

Patrick-
The only thing you arent getting with the base (like these guys are saying) is the limited slip and leather, plus a few small things like cruise control. I wouldnt pay that much for a used Z. Take a look at http://www.edmunds,com or something like that and check out the different model trims that the Z come in. Good luck.

I'm not going to spend more money for a brand new base which doesnt have stuff that I want including cruise control, leather, A/T, etc.

I dont see the problem with buying a car with some miles on it, as long as the Car Fax report looks clean
