I had an accedent 4 days ago with my 350z, and my car at the dealer they will fix it. there is no major dameg on the car.
but am thinking to sell my (03) 350z for 06 mustang GT(with after market rims , Exhaust , hood, Rear Lips) , it has 3000 miles and my Z has 34000.
they need the mustang for 30000 $ but i dont know how much they gonna pay for my Z ?

what do you guys recommend me to do?

Don't get into any more accidents.

Keep the Z or trade it for a different car.

The new Mustang GT's are pretty sweet if you lower them and put some nice rims on them, there also quicker then the 350z... I've always kind of liked the new retro Mustang, but the interior always turned me off, to bad they didnt make it more modern inside even tho I know they were trying to do a retro look inside..

Are the parts on the stang aftermarket or factory parts? If they are aftermarket, then the dealer most likely didn't pay the previous owner for those parts when he traded or sold his/her car, except maybe the wheels. If you really like the Mustang, the way it is, and you think you want a new car like the mustang gt, then go for it. Otherwise, the mustang is overpriced by $3000...you could get a brand new mustang gt for less. Shop around a little more, and you may find something else or a better deal, if you think you really want a new car. Make the right decision that best fits you.

the new stangs shape and look is not that attractive to me but the older 03-4 svt i think are nice easy to get some good hp out of those suckers but still i would stay with the Z if i were you.

Welcome to the forum. If the Mustang suits you needs, go for it. Talk is cheap.

Well I kind of like the new Mustang GT body style, but I have not seen the interior. I do know for a fact that the older Mustangs have crappy interiors. I've heard the new GT is faster than the Z, but by how much really? Its a HEAVY car. And who knows, if the OP buys that car, but this time next year he might be driving a Nissan Mustang GT .

I wouldn't get a Mustang GT personally, too much stereotype that goes with it, plus lots of old men drive them. But hey, different strokes for different folks. I would take a Z over a Mustang GT.

i've had two mustang gts in the past. although neither was the current body style. i won't bash them, but you deffinately do not get what you pay for. re-sale value does not hold up, well, except for the dealer.

I can appreciate the mustang GT, they are fast, test drove one with a friend, it's not a bad car. I would never get one, becuase I think the Z is a little heavy for my taste, so I wouldn't get a stang unless I needed four doors and a back seat, and even then I would go STI.

Well, it's kind of hard to give you advice on whether or not to trade the Z in unless we know how much they're giving you for it. I mean if they're only offering you $4k for the Z (hypothetically speaking of course) then of course you shouldn't trade it in. Have they given you a figure yet?

Ford's NEW Desperate for Sales Promotional Campaign:

"Bill Ford says that for EVERY Ford Mustang GT bought, he will personally sign your car, throw in a 1985 Ford Tempo, and give you a complimentary handjob"

Bottom line is...do what ya want to....however you asked for opinions, so mine is: The new retro stang imo looks nice. But i still cant help but think about mullets and Kodiak chewing dip when I think of them. Also the sex appeal just isnt there like with a 350Z. People to this day STILL wonder what exactly it is that Im driving. Lots of ppl take my Z for a $60K+ sports car. You dont get that kind of reaction with the stang, even the newer ones. I personally would get an 06 Z...you will have the same HP as the new stang..correct me if im wrong tho on that one.
