Try to keep yourself out of the news. Do you pay insurance or gas? I am guessing not.
You might also want to throw on that flame proof suit, you are going to need it.
(PS -- anyone think hes BSing? I believed it until i saw "new vette at 18")

and even if this isnt BS... whats the point of showing off... Its your dad's money.. Nobody is impressed in the long run if your parents are wealthy.

is this a parent speaking or did the kid go all third person on us?
If it is the parent, you obviously dont love your son. Youre basically writing his death certificate. If not in the z, then in the vette.
Not tryin to hate on the kid or you for buying him a sweet car, but is it really necessary? Teach the kid the value of a dollar and how to drive and then maybe help him buy a 300 hp sports car.

I dont think theres anything wrong with your dad buying you a Z.. Like you said, its a Z, and not a Ferrari. But by bringing your dad into this (e.g. daddy is gonna buy me this, and this, and this.. etc..) you are just proving your immaturity.
where in Florida do you live? I want to know if I have to keep an extra eye out for you when I'm driving.
congrats on the car, but seriously, consider an alternative for your first car until you're comfortable behind the wheel.
oh, and get a job.

Man, good for you, sinceraly...I´m 16 and my dead, probably the same as your´s, is a reasonbly wealthy guy. Man, i´m getting a car also, but i had to make a deal with my dead...He´s only gonna get me a car, if i get a job, to pay the insurence...And i made it, i´m working on a tunnig shop, on the week, and in the weekend i´m working on a musical instrument shop.Bottom line, you gotta feel responsably for certain things.Have a car is not, like having a toy, that you can change any time, is something relly special.I hope the best for you, but think about...

I hate to join the bandwagon, but I have to agree with everyone else. A 250+ HP RWD vehicle doesn't belong in the hands of a 16 year old. I'm not talking bad about you, but trust me you just don't have the experience. I'm only 18, but I have two years experience driving numerous car legally. I also live in the country so I've been driving for over six years. As soon as I got that lisence I just turned stupid. There are many times I could have easily wrecked and died, but I was lucky. And don't even try to tell me you're different, because I've never seen a 16 year old that was reasonably responsible. For the sake of your life please get a little more experience before trying to drive a Z. BTW I think the statement that guy made about the vette was about the power not price.

I'm sorry, but
When I turned 16 I got a free 1989 Ford Tempo. I gaurantee I got more *** than this kid too.
Ps. Is your Dad looking for another son? I'm available, and willing to settle for a WRX...

Damn, the 1st thing I was thinking was how can you pay for gas, then I thought your only 16, how can you pay for anything! Unless your working with a work permit and I dont think daddy would let you do that! Be safe!
