Default Happy as a pig in slop

Damn, I wish I felt angry and indignant so I could fire off a cleverly-worded post from The Almighty Customer in the hopes that someone at Nissan would read it and feel my wrath. Then I would have a feeling of great satisfaction!

But I'm soon getting the car of my dreams at a price I can afford, my dealer has told me everything I need to know, and life is pretty darn good. Hey, for once I don't have any indignance to pour out!

Are there any others on this board -- maybe doing a lot of lurking lately to keep from stepping into any nastiness -- who are actually happy about things as they are and don't want to string up all the Nisssan executives and take potshots at them?

I know lots of people have had poor treatment from their dealers and that sucks. But all we ever hear is the negative stuff. Let's hear from some HAPPY people for a change!

I'm 23 this is going to be my first NEW car, but only my second car ever. And I can't think of anything bad about my situation, except that I wish I had it right now.
Since I was old enough to know what a car was I've always been in love with sports cars, and owning one will be a dream-come-true... maybe this is what the Z is all about?

Most every night, when I close my eyes, just before I fall asleep, I picture myself in my Z....pulling out of my driveway. Sometimes, I turn right, and get into second gear before the stop sign. Stop, look both ways, chirp the wheels a tad, and head south.

Other times I turn left out of the driveway. I'm still in first gear when I hit the little dip in the road. Push the clutch in...brake...and go over the dip very slowly.

And then sometimes, when I am really having trouble sleeping, I create this angry and indignant letter in my mind to Nissan.

But most nights.....I turn right.
It is good.

This will be one heck of a car for the money. Nissan has done a great balancing performance/looks/costs. I believe this car will become a classic like the original 240. GREAT JOB NISSAN!!
