So I was driving to work this morning. I am at a redlight making a right turn. Oncoming traffic has the right of way to on a green left turn arrow, so I let them go first. One of the vehicles is a Semi, loaded with dirt, etc. I noticed this so I let him go ahead. As I am driving behind him, out comes this boulder the size of a football! I am not directly behind him but in the next lane. So the thing comes out and does cartwheels coming into my lane. Damn, those brembos came in handy. I didn't want to brake too hard in case there was cars behind me, but If I hadn't stopped that thing would have ran over my windshield. Luckily, I stopped just enough for it to hit the bottom lip of my bumper, a few scratches but not too bad. I was expecting the worst when I stopped to look at it.

I guess the point of this story is to always keep your eyes open, do not drive behind trucks and if you are getting a new Z, get the Brembos!

 

niceee....way to stay in control..i woulda got that trucks license...and called the company...and had them get me a "new bumper" bc mines was banged up. But really got a lip kit...lol

 

I will remember to try and do that the next time something comes flying at me. The only thing I was thinking about was saving my a$$. Damn construction in Vegas is everywhere, it seems you gotta be on the lookout at all times.
