Default Color question

What color would you have liked Nissan too offer but they didn't offer it? I would have liked to see the new Z in a British Racing Green. And, do you think that Nissan will offer more color choices after the pre order is over, say '04/'05?

British Racing Green! Too cool! Yellow and Gold would be nice. They will add new colors after the Z sales start lagging in a few years.

Personally, I would like to see them follow in the storied footsteps of the great Z cars of the past. In the early years, you were hard pressed to find a Z in another color other than silver or pumpkin, then they started with black, green, yellow, etc.

Slow at first, then add more colors later (at the same time, removing some colors from time to time.)

I think their first additions should be a darker blue, and maybe a green.

My vote is for Midnight Blue/Rob Walker Racing Team Blue, preferably non metallic/Royal Blue.

Default COLOR

Datsun Orange, I had a 1972 240; and British Racing Green, I had a 1965 Triumph TR4, my first new car. Great colors and great cars, well, the 240 sure was and the TR4 was great if you had young, strong kidneys, it had lever shocks on the rear. Kind of rode like a buckboard.

Boomer--Ah, sports cars make the world go round.

Hey ya, I had one of those orange '72 240's. I think it was called "Persimon", maybe spelled it wrong. Eventually I painted it a metalic marune. Hmmm, is the Brickyard a Marune?

Hey, I like the yellow. It looks fast.

Can any of you photoshop gurus do one in the color of my Stealth. I love the dark metallic green.

Beats me, everytime I see it in a different light, the color changes. Not as dramatic as Ford's many-hued special they did on the Mustang, but it does change. As for the name, Maroon/Marune works for me, I think I will like it. I sure did like the Orange. How did your Marune turn out? I didn't get to see the Brickyard except on the preorder form for 4 months, I ordered 02/10/02.

Boomer--somewhat color-blind and I don't care.

VQ, I like the yellow, is it a pearl paint? Any yellow brighter than pale banana usually looks like urine to colorblind me, but this doesn't. Why not?
