Default Got the Z back, comments welcomed...

I just got my car back from the body shop and had to take some pictures. It's been at Excel Body Works in Jacksonville, NC. For any of you near Jacksonville I definitely recommend them, they do amazing work, very reasonable prices, but there customer service could use a little help. They aren't good at calling you and tell you to call them back constantly. It seems the owner (Charles) is the only one there that can tell you everything and if he isn't there they will tell you to call back when he is. Like I said amazing work, great prices, but lacking in the CS Dept. Anyways, I know the camera is ****ty, the car isn't cleaned, and the shots are bad but I wanted to get some input anyways.

IMO body kits are very un-neccessary on a z, and when i say "un-neccesary" i mean the car has a great body to begin with, and I just wouldn't want to look that "fast", or that "furious" if you catch my "tokyo drift"

I agree that the car has a great body to begin with I just think everything can use improvements, and IMO I think it's an improvement.

I like the honest opinions, keep em coming.

+1 I think the Z's come looking the best they ever will when it comes to the front bumper. I've never found a front bumper on a Z and NOT said why did they make their car ugly???

Other than that though it looks nice. The side skirts and rear bumper are nice additions along with the carbon hood. (Your front bumper is the first bumper I didn't over, but I still like the original more)

+2....I do not particularly like the wheel combo either. I do like the color choices. They go good together. Overall I can see you put alot of work into the vehicle and it is clean, the choices of accessories are just not my cup of tea.

Yanno, that front bumper isnt that bad imo, i prefer a cleaner lip look myself, but thats just me. Hood is nice. You need to up a size with the wheels, that body kit makes the car look bigger so you need bigger wheels. But overall i think it came out pretty good.

Too much going on with the front end. I am a little bias to the clean lines the Z has to begin with. I do like the color combo though.

They're 18" Enkei RZ-5's. I thought they might be a little small too now that the kit is on but at the same time I really don't want anything bigger than 18's. Not sure what to do...

Got it from ShowStoppers USA for $1309 (free shipping). It got here extremely quick with no problems. My body shop requested directions for the front bumper mounting and ShowStoppers e-mailed me PDF instructions within 5 minutes of me calling em.

Fitment is extremely good for the Front Bumper and Rear Lip but they had some minimal problems with the sideskirts. They didn't hug the car like they should. My shop was able to solve the problem but like I said not a perfect fit but pretty close.

To add to that question, did you have to get the body kit paint matched, and how much did it cost?
