Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum here. I don't own a 350Z or G35, but a 2002 Q45. I'm going to be doing a fair amount of mods to it and hope that I can get some info and help from here as these cars share some common parts and design/engineering philosophy, ie all 3 cars have the exact same transmission down to each gear ratio. Valve body and torque converter is different tho, and I wouldn't be surprised if the FX and M cars also use the same tranny. TIA.

 

Welcome. The Q is quite a different car from the Z or G, but its still hot... And at least you are buying a Nissan product.

You don't see too many Q45 owners want to mod, but I'm sure there is some power left to be had out of that engine. What does the Q45 make? 340hp or so from a V8 correct? Maybe its like muscle cars where there's no replacement for displacement?

Well, there is the Q45 forum in the NICO and FreshAlloy, but not many F50-chassis Q45 owners and less than 5 of them have done mods, K&N filter, exhaust and/or JDM body kit being the most extreme.
