Exclamation Will Nismo Parts Void My Warranty?

hey guys I want to put some performance upgrades on my car. I have a 100,000 mile warranty till 08 so i don't wanna void that. Will nismo parts void the warranty? I think i heard that the exhaust is the only one that wont void it because it is s tune and the rest are r tune which void the warranty. Does that sound right?

R tune doesn't, S tune does, but the R tune has to be installed by the dealer to retain the warranty!

NISMO parts and the warranty are just common sense. An example is NISMO wheels. What possible damage could you do to the car by installing wheels?

On the other hand, look at the NISMO flywheel. Installing a flywheel can cause problems, and the resulting problems are not covered by the warranty.

The R-tune won't void your warranty but if a problem arises from the r-tune part it won't be covered.

I personally love my nismo sway bars. So much better handling especially when you try and take corners. No more of that my *** jumps up and down and slides out unpredictably. Now my *** slides out predictably lol

Minor boltons like intake, exhaust won't put your engine at risk of having problems. I have the motordyne 5/16 spacer and exhaust. The idle is smoother!

whatever that is genuine nismo, u shoudlnt really worry about it
i mean come on NISSAN developed it right?
but basically if the install was bad on an R-TUNE product then it is not covered
but R tune is where its at

if your worried about the warrenty you shoudnt be modding your car...end of story....

That doesn't make any since. Why shouldn't I be able to mod my car if some of the parts are covered under warranty?

well its sense first off, and secondly parts that are covered under nissan warranty are stated on the parts, if the dealer installs nismo parts that are covered by the nissan warranty then you are covered, like they said there are some nismo parts that carry no warranty because they are meant for racing not street hence the s and r tune

Dealers/manufacturers CANNOT "void your warranty". If, however, they can prove that an aftermarket part caused a specific problem, they can (and usually will) deny coverage for that specific repair or damage

And this IS the correct answer. For more info, google "moss-magnussen act". That is the federal law that protects consumers from being unjustly denied warranty coverage.

I wish that NISMO would never have named their parts S and R-tune. It has created terrible confusion.
