I've never tried to go below the 1/4 tank mark, and it still is plenty.

My "low fuel" light came on last week after having purposely let the gas get low and going to the track (and waiting until the next day to go fill up). It came out to $30 with Chevron Premium Unleaded... that's the only brand of gas I put on my car.

In Mandeville, Louisiana, premimum fuel is around $1.80 per gal. Not bad compared to other states, too bad my 350Z does not get the milage that my 98 etc got.

OK, wait a minute. Even if you put 20 gallons in, it would have to cost $4/gallon to total $80. Where do you live? Oh, yeah. Pluto.

My commute to work each day is approx 100 miles round trip. I am stuck in traffic on the 405 in L.A. every morning and in the evening. I also drive about 200-300 miles on the weekend hanging out with friends and going places. The cheapest 91 Octane Chevron around my house is approx $2.29/gallon so sometimes it have to fill up 2-3 times a week at a cost of $35-45. So conservatively speaking approx $80. May be I should buy a scooter. Of course it will take approx 3 hrs to get to work taking surface streets.

OK, but the original question was, "How much is it costing you to fill up your Z?" I guess I just assumed that it meant "fill it up one time". You may be thinking of the related thread that essentially asked how much it is costing for gas each week. Anyway, you do drive a lot.

I once tried to justify my Harley based on economics. Once you consider MPG, insurance, replacing tires every 10,000 miles, resale value, etc., I really couldn't justify it. My Harley is just a luxury. A really nice luxury.
