For the past 20 months this cover has been my friend protecting the 350Z in snow, wind, rain and ultraviolet radiation. Todays wind storm was just too much for it to take: it split several places in the back. This is the $200 OEM cover. I had hoped that it would last longer, but for about $10/month, it has been my smartest mod.
Goodbye friend. I will miss you dearly.
it did well for an OEM cover, but now yu can set up to the best!

Think thats bad. A little off subject but when I got home today the wind had blown my 2006 kawasaki 636 over. The reason was that the cover just caught the wind and over it went. Broke some crap probably like 5-600 dollars. Dont mean to thread steal but that wind was fierce today...
Restitch it and seam seal it (stuff from camping store) and it may get you a few more months.
The thing is the UV rays break down the fabric overtime. You may want to treat your new cover to a UV resistant coating spray (found at camping stores...meant for tents and stuff)

At $2.50 a week over 20 months your car cover was a good investment.
