I had a group of high schoolers messing around by my car the other day when I came out of the grocery store, I told them to back the Fu** up from my car. Being that i'm 6'5" 215lbs they complied.

That's my rant...

It would suprise you how many of the highschool kids around here are 6'5"+ 260+ lbs. ....most of them are on the football teams. They remind me of Biff from back to the future. "make like a tree and get outta here"

BTW im 6'2" 235lbs andif I was any bigger I would have to sell the Z. My head almost hits the celing.

LMAO....One night me and some buddies were hanging out in the hastings parking lot and this dude was up there talking about how bad his new mustang was. He tells somebody to watch how it will catch 2nd gear or something, so he pulls out into traffic and starts roasting the tires off of it, gets sideways in the road and somehow jets across the other side of the road and centers up a speed limit sign on his front bumper. Fu**ed his car up. I've never laughed so hard in my life.

I am also 6'2", but I weigh in at about 265. My head is very close to the ceiling as well. I love that wrapped around a performance vehicle feel, though, so no regrets here.

I will also second the ricer hate. These are the people (not just kids, trust me) who go out, race someone, and end up killing someone not involved at all.

The real problem is that kid dosen't understand that an adult with a wife in the car is not out to race junk cars. What the story sounds like is that kid can't wait to be killed, or kill someone else. I say he needs to get in the Army ASAP and sent to Iraq, or in jail. Not on the streets.

You shouldve told him that he has a nice car. I'm sure he'll sense the sarcasm. I'm sure that there's 9 second minivans out there. But would I trade my car in for it? No thanks I'll stick to my "slow" car.

I love how everyone says that, "You could've bought a faster car for that money"
If I wanted a faster car, I would've bought one.
Some people just lack logic, and unfortunately there are far too many younger idiots on the road.

My mom used to own that piece of shiet. Fox body couldn't handle for crap. Had so many problems, prob the cost of fixing the car was just as much as the car itself. Raced a 99 GT on the freeway. Pulled him like as if there is no tomorrow.

EXACTLY if i wanted a super fast factory beast i would not of bought a Z, now with that being said, the Z's fast enough for me as my daily driver
but the main reason i bought the Z was for its Tradition and the Prestige of being a Z owner!

Man, I just get tired of people saying that 0-60~5.5 and 1/4~14.1@102 is slow. How f'ing fast do you really need to go on the street? In a stock Z, under full throttle acceleration, in a mere 14 seconds you are going fast enough to get arrested in pretty much any state in the nation, leaving you with serious fines, an insurance hike, and more than likely no license for six months to a year.

There are plenty of fast cars out there, and the Z is one of them, whether people want to acknowledge it or not. I drive a Z for more than straight line acceleration, however. Great handling and braking, beautiful car to be seen in, and you are part of a special community.

Man, if I wanted a freakin' street legal race car (reliability be damned), I'd have a 3rd gen RX-7 with a built motor running 25lbs of boost. Sure there are faster cars, but that thing is a track car to begin with. Or, if I had the money, I'd be running a Z06 or Viper with serious mods.

Damn, people are so stupid.

a friend of mine driving his honda element raced a group of kids in a modified civic but only as a joke. they just pulled up next to him at a red light. so anyway, they hauled *** and unknowingly approached train tracks, slammed on the brakes, car lunges forward/downward and the front bumper catches on the tracks and gets torn off. my friend finally catches up to them as they're stopped with their bumper off and he rolls by slowly, rolls his window down and goes "i win" hahaha
