350 Horsepower
Nos stickerz!!! you'll be mad tyte and have 350 whp
But seriously you should have researched the NA capabilities of this car before you bought it. You might wanna look for something with more displacement.

to the guy that posted second....he would EASILY have 350 TO the wheels with all that ****...but...stroker kit (get one with pistons with at least 11:1 compression ratio), internals, cams, ecu, headers, test pipes (illegal), a GOOD full exhaust, good intake, pulley kit, plenum spacer, mrev kit, tune for 91 octane...and you'll have 340 or so at the wheels i believe...350 at the wheels is hard to achieve but its possible...the best JDM tuners around are shooting for 400 N/A out of the VQ35...they havent got it yet but 350 is do-able...probably more expensive than a TT or Supercharger but...if you wana keep that smooth linear power delivery for good track times its worth it i suppose

or you can bore it out lol...get it up there..3.8 liters or so...but you're venturing into uncharted territory there my friend.....but yeah the guy that said "Try to get first hand information, as opposed to guys who just like to hear themselves talk." is right...those were just suggestions..nobody on here is a hardcore mechanic that can really tell you whaat to do...go look into some shops & what not cause you're gonna need some hella-good mechanics to help you try to hit numbers like that with a naturally aspirated 3.5 liter VQ

What kind of power do you get if you upgrade to FI? I saw a tt 300z at our local dyno lay down 480 RWHP(don't recall RWTQ), however I do recall thinking don't ever tangle with this Z! lol. Maybe he is a member on here...Think he was from Pensacola, Fl. Later...

350whp is a tall order, even claiming to have 314whp stirs up controversy.

im a newbie here so cut me some slack but what kind of a gain is expected from a cai? underdrive pullies? and if i decide to get the plenum spacer what kind of hp gain would i be lookin at as well as if there is any torque loss with it?
im sure u guys r tired of these questions but i am new to the VQ motor. ive had a bmw 328is for 4 years and i know that motor was hard as hell to squeeze any power out of.

I hope I win the lotto someday... the first thing I'ma do is build the highest horsepower N/A 350Z.
Tony (is not bull****ting)
It's just not gonna happen on stock cubes. Even if you believe advertised hp figures like 23 hp from a cold air intake, 45 for long tubes and catback, 12 for underdrive pulley, and such, you'd still be short.
Why not go FI anyway? There's no reason not to slap a supercharger on the 350, and call it a day on low boost. Even a TT kit will not be much more, and once again. Unless you get greedy with boost on the stock motor, the VQ35DE will have a long life.
Just realized this thread is a bit old. Was searching around, and saw this thread. Thought it was more current.

I believe a company called Power House Amuse in Japan has built a N/A car that has 350 horsepower. But, good luck getting those parts here to the U.S. Here is a link to their video.
