PPW..........but thats what I have so I cheat!

 

I would go with white because black is so hard to keep clean and the swirl marks...yikes!

Clean black Z's though, like the one posted in the thread, are oh-so hot.

 

I have a black 91 turbo mr2 for daily use, it's not garage kept and gets dirty very easily but if you can wash and wax it every 1-2 weeks, they'll look very sexy on the road.

hahah Im on my second black car and I hate swirl marks more than anything in this world. Theres absolutley no way to keep them off your car at all times unless your car is washed daily and a garage queen. With that said .. black looks the best in almost every car!

 

I think they're both sexy as hell. I have an SB, but at times I wish I had gotten a PPW or CS. But I'm sure if I had a PPW, I'd regret not getting DB or something. All colors look good, so trust me, you'll have a hard time choosing which one. I know that when I was looking around my favorite color changed almost every week.

 

Hard call. On the one hand, as others have said: Black looks great so long as you don't mind cleaning at least once a week. I have been cleaning mine about every five days, and while I don't mind it personally, sometimes my schedule makes it a burden. Clean Black looks f'ing amazing, though.

On the other hand, though white will stand up better, and with less cleaning, if you live in one of those bug-infested areas of FL, your front end will always look like crap, unless you clean it once a week.

I think it really comes down to your own personal opinion. The Z is such a beautiful car, that it really looks good in any color.

 

I think the white looks best all the time but the black looks best when it is clean. Tuff choice, I wanted either but I got too good of a deal on the used Silverstone.

If you don't know how to detail your car, then don't buy black.
This is my first black car and so is my next one. My Z is swirl free and
I feel bad for people who owns black cars but don't know how to take
care of its paint.. I used to HATE black cars but since this was the only Z
that my dealer was offering with good price, so I had no choice.
Then I invested in porter cable and after I seeing the result once a week,
I say to myself all the time.. 'Damn..I'm glad I chose black'.
And then I found out the statement was true.
'Once you go black, you can't go back'.

but PPW is a nice color choice also..heck, all Z looks great no matter what
color it is.

 

imo SB/MB owners will say black, and PPW owners will say white.

So of course...I'd say black.

Here's why:

Alot less maintenance w/white? if you can keep up w/the black go for it, but i really think you have to be very **** to own black, and want it to look good.

 

That was my exact debate almost a year ago.....I went CS, go figure.

 

I LOVE MY BLACK Z and it seems the girls are like bugs...attracted to the black the same way bugs are attracted to the bug light zapper!

 

HOLY Chronic. That thing is the phatest z ever. I was gonna pick blue but black ftw.

you live in naples. with all the road construction that is going on and will go on, dont get black, you can not keep it clean down here.
