I was at Performance a month ago, and the sales people were a bunch of tools.

I think that place is in for a big change.

Jeff,

Is the dealership in west covina/covina openning soon?

Maybe my 2007 purchase will be at that location?

Sorry, I need to be careful answering questions like this. I still work for Performance until the end of the month. Performance has treated me very well all the way to the end. The new dealers official opening date is Jan 15th, but if you're ready to buy a car now, you can't beat Performance Nissan. Just make sure you go through me or after I'm gone Andy so you don't have to deal directly with the sales dept.
BTW: Thank you all for the kind words, I've done my best to help and build up the 350Z community, but it was all with the backing of Performance Nissan. I will miss the store and the co-workers I'm leaving behind.

Good luck Jeff & Jenny.

Why are you guys acting like you'll never speak to him again? He's just changing dealers, I'm sure he will build a great parts department there too.

There is plenty of room in Los Angeles for 2 good dealer-based aftermarket parts depts. And think of San Diego..since Mossy Performance closed down, I have had to come up to LA from time to time...

Too bad another dealership other than Mossy was not opening in SD county. I think competiton would be a good thing in this case.

Best of luck Jeff. I have know you since the very beginning of 350Z time. Congratulations on the new opportunity, and I wish you and Jenny the best.

I hope that the service department will be as good at the new dealership as perf nissan used to be, since it's pathetic now. Ever since Tim hasn't been allowed to deal with the performance needs it has gone down the drain.
My car is there for over 2 weeks now to get my rear axles fixed, parts weren't ordered till after the car was there for a week (they knew what parts were needed the morning I dropped it off) and I'm being charged 4 hours of labor to put an inner cv joint into my old oem axles (it was 2 hours the time before) and it looks like it's going to be more than buying a whole new set of axles...very very sad this place used to rock.

Anyway, good luck Jeff and Jenny, I know how it feels leaving a job after so long, I just left mine after 10 years, it's a bit scary but exciting...change is good.
I will definetely follow you guys with my needs there in hopes that west covina nissan will be the new performance nissan.
