Good thing you have all those scoops in front to catch all the extra snow.

I just pray you still don't have the stock RE40's on your car - I got caught in a snow/ice storm the first year I had my roadster, and it was total terror with those stock P.O.S. tires.

The Z may not an SUV, but it has NO chance in a freeze on stock rubber.

I'm right down the street from you in Waukegan...this morning sucked donkey *****...I just stayed home and didn't go outside until 1ish when the streets were better. I was out a few hours ago around 10ish and some of the major roads were still crappy (Greenbay specifically!!)

Nice Z!

SNOW SUCKS!

I'm moving to Pembroke Pines, FL near my family in 6 months, forget buying a beater or selling my Z.

Here in KC, we got the same storm a day earlier.

I haven't driven my Z for a week. Last year I didn't even drive it in the month of February.

You need a winter beater. I never, ever drive in weather; rain or snow. The only time my baby has been driven in rain was when I was on vacation and I got caught.

My baby has been sitting warm and dry inside all week.

Meanwhile, my daily driver is a mess.

Actually, it is the summer thunderstorms that are likely to inflict more damage in this area. Once in a great while, a hurricane will give you a little hell. Still beats the cold and the snow I used to deal with many years ago. Even if you don't have a sports car, the north is no place to live, IMHO. Of course, the almighty dollar sometimes dictates to us where we will be living. If I lived up there, I would just buy an older XTerra or something like that.
